Adasa at Segarra-Garrigues System

July 2009

Adasa has developed, subcontracted by Copisa Company, the works in electrical systems of low tension, instrumentation, automation, control and supervision of the 12th sector of the Segarra-Garrigues system.

This system is one of the most important hydraulic projects carried out in Spain. Some of the main aims are the projection, construction, conservation, maintenance and operation of the necessary infrastructures for the distribution of the water of the Segarra-Garrigues channel, promoting the development and operation of the irrigation. As a consequence, thanks to this system most of the dry farming of Lleida will be able to transform into irrigated farming, allowing the introduction of new farming and the installation of new companies achieving an improvement of the region’s economy.
