Adasa will implement the control system of the drinking water supply network of 4 cities in Morocco

June 2016

Adasa and Acciona Agua consortium has been awarded with the contract of the automation and control system of the drinking water supply network of four cities in Morocco: Settat, Nador, Meknes, Ifrane and surroundings. The network will provide water to 5.3 million people, around one-sixth of the country’s population.

The project, which is promoted by the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water of Morocco (ONEE), aims to promote the optimal use of water resources, guarantee the drinking water supply, operate the water capture and production installations efficiently, optimising savings in costs and energy, as well as ensuring the drinking water quality.

Adasa works in Morocco since 10 years ago, where has implemented hydrological control projects for the Water Basin Agency of Loukkos, Moulouya and Oum Er-Rbia. Adasa intends this project to be a benchmark in Morocco and further consolidate the company expansion in this region.
