Innovative Irrigation Operation and Planning System at HWRS 2015 in Hobart

Adasa and Murrumbidgee Irrigation will participate in the 36th Hydrology and Water Resources Symposium, which will be held 7-10 December 2015 in Hobart, Tasmania.

This event, hosted by Engineers Australia and its National Committee on Water Engineering, is Australia’s leading symposium devoted to hydrology and water resources.

Leonie Williams, Murrumbidgee Irrigation’s Manager Water Resources, and Jordi Ayats, Adasa’s Project Manager, will present on the innovative Murrumbidgee Irrigation Operation and Planning System (MIOPS).

MIOPS is a Decision Support System designed to improve decision making by providing quick and easy access to information from various sources and gaining better knowledge of the scheme using virtual real-time and forecast information from simulation models.
