October 2015

Do not miss the opportunity to come at the Australia - Spain Water Forum, the 1st Conference of the Association of Spanish Researchers in Australia – Pacific, which will take placed in Sydney, 29-31 October.

This year is the last of the International Decade for Action 'Water for Life', proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly. The purpose of this seminar is to address the crucial importance of water at present, from the point of view of health as well as energy, social and cultural development. Spain and Australia share a high concern for water resources, water treatment and water management, and the economic and social implications involved.

Join our featured speaker Peter Brew in the presentation “Irrigation modernisation in Australia and Spain”, where he will offer a portrait of Australian and Spanish experiences based on the recent modernisation projects implemented across both countries.
